The below ingredients are used to prepare kurma.It is really easy to prepare.
Ingredients
1.Garam Masala - 1 tbspoon (depending upon your taste).
2.Ginger garlic paste
3.Tumeric
4.Onion
5.Tomato
6.Mirchi-1 or more (depending upon your spicy)
7.Salt
8.Dry coconut powder.(Andu kobbari)
9.Cashewnuts -(the more cashewnuts you use in the recipe the more taste you get)
Procedure:
1.Don't fry all the ingredients,just grind them till it becomes paste.If you want like a liquid,just pour water and grind all the ingredients and keep them aside for 2 minutes.
2.Chop the vegetables which you have with you and keep them aside.
3.Keep pan on stove and pour oil in some what more than you everyday use.
4.After the oil gets heated,just add the grind mixture in it.
5.Stir for some time and add the chopped vegetables in the kurma gravy.
6.Keep a lid on the pan and check for every 5 minutes till the vegetables are cooked well by adding water to it.
7.After the vegetables are cooked,just see that all the water gets evaporated and the oil will seen
on the top of the recipe.
8.If you see the oil layer on the recipe you are done.You can garnish the kurma with coriander leaves and serve this kurma with biryani,chapathi or poori or with white rice too .
Note:You can boil vegetables separately by keeping them in pressure cooker.
