Before cell phones became widely available, people had to find their way to a land line phone or a pay phone when they needed to quickly communicate with someone. This often presented a major inconvenience for people.The only other forms of quickly communicating with people were CB radios or HAM radios but these technologies were limited in the functionality that they provided their users.Sensing a legitimate need to be able to break free from the limits of the technologies of the time, cell phones were invented and they have changed the world for the better in many ways.These were invented by Dr.Martin Cooper who led a team of developers at Motorola and made the first cell phone call in April 3, 1973 at Motorola.
