Basic Install SP2010 on your Microsoft Server 2008 R2

Hi Guys!!!

I am new to SP2010 and really speaking i don't know how to install SP2010 even SP2013 along with SP2016 are coming into the market.

It seems really wired, but as i am not from this background  i am really feeling excited to install SP2010 onto my Microsoft Server 2008R2 and want to share the same to you who are really interested to learn SP2010 initially.

I got my machine installed with MicrosoftServer 2008R2  with minimum of 4GB Ram.Ofcourse I knew it is very low for SP2010 to get installed. But if needed we have to upgrade to 8GB which would be fine to install SP2010.

First and foremost is i have SQLServer 2008 R2 Standard/Enterprise edition on my system. It got installed successfully.

SharePoint need to have Database installed.Because while installing SharePoint,it stores all the pre-defined schemas and structures into the DB and also while installing SharePoint,SPConfigDB database is dynamically created in SQLDB as shown below:

After installing SQL Server 2008R2,  I have installed SPFoundation 2010 which is free ware and there by i have installed SPServer 2010 stand alone which is not free edition it requires key to install successfully. Once it gets installed successfully at last it asks to run SPConfiguration Wizard. While running SPConfiguration Wizard, if goes to Step 1 -10 or 11. to upgrades all SP Services and configure all the basic services to SP Farm. Once it pops up successfully.Than your SP Farm is ready to work out for learning and practising .
